Our Story

Wakefield, a member of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association, is made up of the best local and international talent. We value excellence in business and in homebuilding. Truthfulness and integrity are built into our company; quality and lasting value are built into our homes.

Led by Lance Sparling, Wakefield’s senior team has more than a century of combined experience. We are known for our expertise and innovation in homebuilding, and every member of our team has a personal commitment to build quality crafted, unique homes and neighbourhoods. At Wakefield, we do things a little differently.

We believe the community is the most important part of any development and so we build with the community in mind.

We have offices in Sechelt and West Vancouver, which is part of the reason we’re so dedicated to the West Coast. Of course, we could not have asked for a more spectacular location to build our neighbourhoods. From the Beachouse at Vaucroft to the unique collection of homes on Wakefield Beach, we create old-fashioned communities with a modern sensibility.
